Welcome to the Angell Family Reunion Website!

Angell family reunions hold many memories for me...and I'm sure for many of you. The first C.J. and Ed family reunion I remember took place at Christ Haven Lodge in Florissant, Colorado. That must have been what, 1979? 30 years ago? Is that right? Wow.

Our family shares a special bond: family, friendship, fellowship. We have always been more than family. We are also friends. And beyond family and friendship, we share the fellowship of children of Christ.

Five years ago we gathered in Keystone, Colo., where we will return on July 3-5, 2009. This time we have booked condos grouped in West Keystone called Evergreen. The Evergreen Condominiums are located on the west side of the resort in a secluded, wooded area, just a short ride from the base of Keystone Mountain. These secluded units feature larger living quarters, stone fireplaces and full size kitchens. Evergreen also has an indoor pool/hot tub and outdoor picnic area.

Five years ago you asked Larinda and I to represent the familes of Ed and C.J. Angell. We are pleased to invite you to join us in Keystone this July. We think this will be a great location for us to gather. The proposed agenda (at right) includes plenty of full family gatherings as well as time to form smaller groups of individual families, cousins, older/younger generations, etc. It will be a wonderful gathering.

  4. The website is great and will try to check it regularly. We (maybe just me) are planning to attend the reunion. My reservation has been made for awhile. This is my first blog comment. How am I doing so far??

  5. Pam, you are doing better than 99% of the family -- nice job!

  6. The idea of a social media 101 class may be the best thing yet! I suspected the Knee Sister-in-Laws were pulling our leg with the vegetarian options. However, we still do not want any of that kooky California tofu stuff! I can help with food at this end.

  7. Daren, thank you for all the work you have put into the details of the reunion and your web page. It stirs the heart to look back, and spark the memories, and to see how the family has grown. I’m sure it is appreciated by all who see it. Shelly and I send our greetings to all. My parents, Leland and Dorothy, are doing well, but slowing down little by little. When I find my “Round Tuit” I will try to send a few pictures of our family. I don’t believe I have any reunion pictures but I have a few “Ed Angell” family pictures.
We hope the 2009 reunion will be a blessing to all, and we pray that Christ will be honored in all the fun and fellowship together. As you know we will not be able to attend; however, I will look forward to seeing the pictures and maybe a few videos, after the fact, on your webpage.
Please send my greeting to the cousins!
    Ed Angell
